This article discusses the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in the context of liberal political theory. It argues that the IBDP is a product of – and contributes to the reproduction of liberal values. Furthermore, contemporary challenges to liberalism also constitute challenges to the sustainability of the IBDP.
