After nearly a year of teaching and learning through a global pandemic, we all have a new appreciation for what it means to survive a major crisis. But we also have an opportunity to embrace a new understanding of ‘crisis’ as a lever for change.
Certainly, we have all learned a lot about ourselves, our schools and how we need to change to meet the needs of our students, not only in the time of Covid 19, but for the 21st Century. The decisions we tabled, the needs we deprioritised, all came into stark view when suddenly, the world changed—a crisis of a generation emerged.
