Abstract:
This article reviews some fundamental characteristics of peace education and looks at efforts 30 years ago at Hiroshima International School to encourage students worldwide to engage in learning about the dropping of the A-bomb. It looks at the elements of peace education already taking place in many international schools and posits a route forward for consolidating these.
