10,00

This study explores international school students’ perceptions of mindfulness training following their participation in the Dot B program. This is a follow-up study to a pilot study that prompted the rolling out of the program across Year 1 of the IB MYP. This particular study involves a select cohort of 16 middle school students from a number of different countries, all of whom are in Year 1 of the IB MYP. The study employed a
qualitative approach to explore students’ perspectives through semi-structured interviews. Themes indicate that students find mindfulness training helpful in monitoring thinking, harnessing attention, managing stress, and balancing emotions.
