ISJ Fall 2022: Pechersk School International, Kyiv, Ukraine: The Story Of How Learning Continues In A School Impacted By War / Rachel Caldwell

As far-fetched as it still seems, tomorrow, Pechersk School International’s (PSI) core leadership team will meet in person for the first time in a long while. We won’t be meeting in our beautiful and historical host city, Kyiv, but rather in our new ‘home away from home’, Warsaw’s welcoming and splendid city. As the horrific attack on Ukraine continues, now into its 6th month, we have made what feels, at many moments, to be the impossible happen. We will be open to learning. Through creativity, determination, comfort with ambiguity, and a fair dose of well-considered risk-taking, all mixed with a considerable amount of help from old and new friends, we will be open to learning.
