The following case study provides an overview of one school’s journey with the NEASC ACE protocol, and how they have used it to engage staff and the wider community, in an extended process of reflection, action, and growth. The process begins with the NEASC ACE accreditation process and flows into the implementation of the Major Learning Plans (MLPs) through an Action Plan, and the creation of a series of committees designed to implement the required actions for the first year. This report is written after successful accreditation and the completion of one full academic year of working with the actions that arose from the implementation of the MLPs and the newly designed Action Plan.
